Tsingtao Brewery Co Ltd donated 10 million yuan ($1.5 billion) and 2 million yuan worth supplies to the Red Cross Society of Qingdao on Jan 29 to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

“As a responsible corporate citizen, Tsingtao is duty-bound to make concerted efforts to stand side-by-side with the front-line pandemic prevention and control workers at the critical moment when the whole country is going through hard times,” said the company’s deputy Party secretary Yu Jiaping at the donation ceremony.

Tsingtao has also implemented pandemic prevention and control measures, giving top priority to the health and safety of its employees and the people.
